Work of Art
Eeek! You guys. I am so excited that Chiz's is *finally* launching the website I did for them. For those of you who don't know, Chiz's is a food product company that has the most delicious homemade dressings, dips, and salsas and the owner just happens to be my husband, Stephen.
They have been busy expanding from Idaho into Utah and wanted a fresh look for their website. I am by no means a professional so to speak but I have done a lot of blogs and websites throughout my life for various reasons, and this one by far was the most challenging but one of the ones I am most proud of.
It was more challenging because the things I generally do are geared more towards fun, girly, and cutesy types of design where as this needed to be a website that was suited for a legitimate business. But I still really wanted it to speak to a wide audience and the online audience that is so present today though social media, blogging, and online businesses.
There are still a couple of tweaks we will need to make along the way and a few cool ideas I have but I am so proud of this website and so happy with how it turned out. I think just knowing that I ended up being capable of doing something I haven't done before was really rewarding. Thank you to my sweet husband for giving me the opportunity to try something different and trusting me with it haha. Kind of scary.
So anyways, check them out if you haven't, let me know what you think, we love feedback!
Chiz's website can be found >> HERE
We did different product pages for each of the products
Botton of the home page with the footer
Was so proud of this drop down/lightbox menu
I wasn't sure about the parallax effect at first, but it ended up being a really cool feature on the home page when you scroll
We added a media pop up with the Chiz's recipe videos they've done on Facebook
This. Now this was the most work of all but ended up looking so great!
