The Fife Life | Blog Design

I am so excited to share with you guys a blog I recently completed. A friend of mine messaged me and asked if I was still doing blog designs and even though I am not as much any more, I was so excited to do my first project in a while.

Jessica came to me with a Wordpress blog, which, (and I may get judgment for it), I am not a big fan of. I let her know that I could try and work on it but I'm not really great with Wordpress and then gave her other options because she didn't seem too happy with it herself. Long story short, I converted her to Wix!

This was such a fun project to work on as it challenged me a little on the technical side with going into Wordpress to transfer the domain name and then later transfer the registrar, but the design was so fun to do and Jess was so perfect to work with. She gave me a lot of good detail and direction in what she wanted but allowed me to be creative. Which is always the perfect mix.

Well, finally last week I finished wrapping it up and it turned out so good! It got me so excited and I enjoyed doing it so much that it gave me an idea of how to be able to continue designing for people in a less formal way than what I had tried about a year ago.
